THE PROCESS
During your first treatment appointment, your dentist will clean your enamel, remove the damaged parts of your tooth, and shape the remaining tooth structure so it will securely hold the crown. Next, your dentist will create a mold of your tooth and send it to our dental lab to make your custom crown. After taking your tooth impression, your dentist will affix a temporary crown while your custom crown is being created. Once we have the crown at our office, we’ll schedule your next appointment. This is when your dentist will remove your temporary crown, then permanently secure your custom crown to your tooth with strong bonding material.
