We believe smiling should be simple. Our goal is to make you feel confident in your smile by restoring or maintaining health and improving appearances so you can smile freely. Nutritional counseling is part of our preventive care because what you eat plays a critical role in oral health. Acidic foods and drinks can accelerate deterioration of your teeth, and certain foods can enhance the health of your supporting jawbone and gums. Our team believes in bringing your efforts and ours into balance for optimum health.
Paired with at-home care, regular dental exams and cleanings are necessary to prevent decay and gum disease. This proactive approach can prevent minor issues from becoming major procedures.
Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Ranola I General Dentist
Growing up in Guam, Dr. Ranola didn’t have access to the same quality of preventive dentistry available in the United States. As a result, she experienced several dental problems. She decided to become a dentist to help prevent children and families from suffering the same oral health issues.
After receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington, Dr. Ranola relocated to Florida, where she completed dental school at Nova Southeastern University in 2005. It didn’t take long for Dr. Ranola to return to Washington, intent on establishing a practice and building her family. In 2008, she opened Ranieu Family Dental here in Vancouver.
Dr. Ranola is committed to continuing education and takes several advanced courses each year that enhance her skill and knowledge to better serve patient needs.
In her spare time, Dr. Ranola, her husband, Tai, and their young daughter frequently travel to Jamaica with Zion International Care to provide health services to at-risk and disadvantaged residents. As an active family, the three frequently participate in local 5K runs.

Dr Iris I Periodontist
Dr. Iris Jing Yang is a periodontist with a diverse educational background and dedication to patient care and community service. Her journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Neuroscience, and Public Health Policy at Brandeis University, followed by a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. She then specialized in periodontics at Oregon Health and Science University, obtaining a certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Science degree.
Dr. Yang specializes in comprehensive periodontal therapy and surgery for treating patients with periodontitis or other gum diseases. She is also a skilled dental implantologist, proficient in various implant systems, complex bone grafting, and sinus augmentation surgeries. Her practice also includes esthetic dental procedures such as crown lengthening, soft tissue gum grafting, and canine exposure for orthodontic treatments. She remains at the forefront of her field through continuous education, ensuring she delivers personalized, top-tier care that meets her patients’ dental needs. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
Dr. Yang is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Periodontology (AAP), the Academy of Osseointegration (AO), the American Dental Association (ADA), the Oregon Dental Association (ODA), and the Western Society of Periodontology (WSP).
Outside of work, Dr. Yang enjoys hiking, skiing, and traveling with her husband. At home, she finds relaxation through practicing yoga, caring for her plants, and watching movies with her family and friends.

Welcome to Ranieu Family Dental! I’m a board-certified Naturopathic Physician with a strong passion for holistic wellness and aesthetic medicine. Since 2021, I’ve been helping clients feel confident and comfortable in their skin by combining science-based methods with natural, effective approaches to beauty.
My work is centered on treatments that enhance natural beauty while also supporting long-term wellness. Whether it’s skincare, anti-aging solutions, or restorative therapies, my goal is always to provide results-driven care that promotes both lasting health and a vibrant, glowing appearance.

Jasmine | Team Leader
Jasmine has worked in dentistry for more than 12 years. She started her career as a Dental Assistant in 2007 and joined the Ranieu Family Dental team in 2008. She contributes to our team as the Team Leader. Jasmine is passionate about continuing education to further her knowledge and skills and is a part-time teacher at Vancouver Dental Assisting School. During her free time, she enjoys paddle boarding at Lacamas with her daughter.
Liz | Clinical Leader
Hello , my name is Lizbeth Rodriguez , I have dedicated dental assistant with 3 years of experience in the dental field. I a strong commitment to patient care, I excels in assisting with various dental procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring a smooth and efficient office environment. I speak both English and Spanish, I am able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of patients, helping them feel more comfortable and supported throughout their visits. Being bilingual allows me to connect with Spanish-speaking patients, ensuring clear communication and a positive experience for all. During my free time I enjoy trying new foods, traveling, cooking/baking and also enjoy spending time with family.
Melody | Registered Dental Assistant
Melody grew up here in Vancouver. She graduated from Columbia River High School and then continued her education here in Vancouver as well, earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology at Washington State University Vancouver, just last May of 2021. She plans on continuing her education, again, through Dental school in the near future. Working in the dental field, She enjoys the fast-paced environment working in the dental field and treating patients with the best optimal oral health that they deserve. This career gives her the opportunity to boost the confidence in patients through restoring their smiles.

Hello there, I’m Liz Rangel, a dental assistant at Ranieu Family Dental. I’m passionate about helping and ensuring care for all patients that come into our office. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, ensuring I successfully communicate with our patients and help their needs get communicated. I enjoy helping restore confidence and oral health in our community. I plan to further my education in the dental field and see myself as a dental hygienist in a few years. I also love being outdoors and spending time with family and friends!
Satkar | Dental Assistant
Hello, my name is Satkar Grewal, and I’m a dental assistant who believes going to the dentist can be fun, not frightening! I love helping nervous patients feel at ease through kindness, laughter, and positivity. Born and raised in Wisconsin, I’ve always had a deep love for animals, especially cows! I’ve worked with elderly patients and underserved communities, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see someone go from anxious to smiling in the chair. I’m planning to further my education in dental school to grow in my skills and make an even bigger impact on people’s lives. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, baking, and practicing henna!

Hello, my name is Olesya. I am tri-lingual—I speak Russian, Ukrainian, and English. I have always had a passion for the medical field, nursing in particular.
I graduated from nursing school back in 2020. I worked as a bedside nurse for a few years before I got into facial esthetics, and I have never looked back. I found what I love to do!
I have a passion for facial esthetics. It puts a smile on my face to make people look and feel beautiful! My main focus is on using a holistic approach, such as Platelet Rich Fibrin. PRF is what I call “liquid gold,” and it quite literally is. I have seen amazing results after treatments, whether it is for acne, fine lines, or hair growth. Paired with a Fotona laser, beautiful results await!
